New Features
AI Assistant Integration (MCP)
Organizations can now connect compatible AI assistants to the LMS using Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, users can securely ask questions about LMS data using natural language. Access is authenticated through the user's LMS account and respects existing security permissions.
What you can ask about:
- People - Find people on your team, look up a profile, see who you manage.
- Training - A person's courses, certifications, and curricula - with status.
- Compliance - Team-wide certification/course status and recent completions.
Important: MCP access requires additional setup and configuration. Please contact Support if you are interested in enabling this feature for your environment.
User Audit Report Enhancements
The User Audit Report now includes an Item Changed filter, allowing administrators to narrow results to specific types of changes, such as manager updates or organization changes.
Improvements
New File Manager
A redesigned File Manager is now available under Admin > Content > File Manager, featuring:
- Improved folder navigation with breadcrumbs
- Enhanced search capabilities
- Bulk file actions (move, copy, download, delete)
- Folder creation and management
- Confirmation messages for completed actions
Important: Files uploaded with the same name as an existing file will no longer overwrite the original. A unique filename will be generated automatically.
Enhanced File Upload Experience
File uploads throughout the platform have been updated to provide:
- Drag-and-drop support
- Multi-file uploads
- Upload progress indicators
- Improved error messaging
New HTML Editor
The HTML editor used for content pages and emails has been redesigned and now includes:
- Full-screen editing
- Reusable templates
- Simplified image management
- Improved editing experience directly within the page
Important: HTML containing scripts, frames, or form fields can no longer be saved.
Content Management Updates
The Content Repository and Content Group management screens have been modernized with:
- Enhanced filtering options
- Improved editing workflows
- Version history visibility
- Updated file selection dialogs
Manage Courses Export Options
The Manage Courses screen now includes export options for:
- CSV
- Excel
Additional Updates
Beta Features Menu
Beta functionality, including Automation, AI Report Finder, and Course Discovery, has been consolidated under a new Beta menu within Administration.
Sales REST API Retirement
Legacy Sales REST API endpoints have been retired and will now return a 410 Gone response. Organizations using these endpoints should contact LogicBay regarding available alternatives.
